Online Reviews: Hancock Health
While attending a healthcare marketing conference in Columbus, IN, a coworker and I learned that many other hospitals use online reputation management systems. We felt that this could improve Hancock Health’s public perception since our Google reviews started out with low quantity and low star ratings.
We wanted to show patients and future patients that we are a great hospital and that the few reviews we did have shouldn’t be taken to heart.
We started using reputation.com as our online reputation management system in December 2018 and began utilizing it in January 2019.
One of our goals was to increase overall reviews from 324 to 3,500 by the end of 2019. Since this was a big task, we planned to make 90-day plans to ensure we hit that number.
As of June 24, 2019, we had 2,037 total reviews, which includes all of our locations and providers associated with Hancock Health. Here’s a glimpse at Hancock Regional‘s Google Business page after we got reputations.com.
I sent out SMS and email review requests daily to patients at specified locations to leave a review for the practice, which averages around 500-750 people a day.
